John Mark is a 350 hour Private Pilot, Cindy is a Student Pilot. We have owned a Cherokee 140 and Diamond Eclipse before. We chose the Sportsman because of its outstanding performance and the 2+2 seating to accommodate our kids. The TWTT program was an excellent fit for us. We own a small business and with kids we did not have the time to do a more traditional build. The quick progress of the TWTT was a whirlwind. I look back on it as one of the most enjoyable and significant events of my life. In the end we got an excellent plane with great performance for 1/3 of what a new certified plane would cost us. It is amazing we built and flew our Sportsman in such a short time. We use our Sportsman primarily for personal travel and recreation. In the first 2 months we all 4 flew our Sportsman to Panama City Beach and to the Bahamas. The kids are always asking "where are we going this weekend"! We love our Sportsman!
