I wanted to build a 2+ something seater and especially the possibility of a TWTT program and the performance figures of a high-wing plane got me.   You find pictures under members page under www.glastar.ch and here is one more that show how happy I was when the plane came into my hangar... ;-)  I do enjoy the plane every week during my test-flight-period of 50 hours. It is an amazing plane with better performance than any similar sized Piper or Cessna. Short field landing is easy and once trimmed it just flies itself. Together with my well-equipped panel flying with SE-XYJ is just pure fun with all those "gadgets" that make a pilots life easier. A perfect 2-seater with a lot of baggage capacity. The intensity of the built was both brilliant and tough. Brilliant in terms of the very well structured program and the tons of things I learned every day. Tough, cause it is too much compress into only two weeks. I understand the idea in the US to only use two weeks vacation to build this kit - but for a European this is not so important. Aux contraire, I would have loved to do it in 3 weeks instead to not having to stress as much as we had to. Or even make it a 2+2 week built. I just think that I would have loved to be able to enjoy this built for longer than just two weeks.
